PRINCE CREW NOTES

Credit Notes

1) KUMAR TAURANI producer
The stupendous success of Race created fresh challenges for me as a producer. I realised that the film loving audience will now expect something bigger and better from me. That's when I decided to create slickest action thriller in contemporary Indian Cinema. When I discussed this idea with my creative team, we hit upon the idea of creating a big action brand. That is the genesis of Prince. The next hurdle was to get the right director who will be able to give shape to our idea. I knew Kookie was the right person for this. His intention to detail, character sketching and sense of stylization has taken my vision to next level. Looking back, I feel that I had never visualized any so clearly right from the pre production stage as Prince. I cordially invite you to share our vision as it unfolds on the screen near you soon.

2) KOOKIE V GULATI director
To me film making is a visual method of storytelling. When Kumarji broached the subject of Prince to me, I was immediately captivated. Prince was an amazing character "dependable, charismatic, creative, enigmatic & strong. We needed to add shades of grey to make the character more intriguing, and so we made our Super Hero a Super Thief! The treatment of this film is true to the character whose story is being told its fast paced, slick and stylish. Fast camera movements and a pacey edit add to the overall look and feel of the film. Detailed characterisation, an intriguing plot and big action will make Prince an entertaining movie watching experience!
