Review: "Pirappu" is claimed to be an off-beat film. The theme is - men are born equal and how life changes them as they grow up. Prabha debuts as the hero and Karthika plays opposite him. Bharadwaj is the music director. Balu Mahendra's son Shanky Mahendra is the cinematographer. Ilangovan worked as assistant to directors like Bala and Nasser. He has made "Pirappu" independently.
